It's weird, you can find all kinds of LCD TVs these days. Some by the same brand, same size, etc can vary in prices by about 100%.

Take Samsung. Look at these two TVs:

Both LCD, 1080p, 120hz, with built-in tuners, 4 HDMI, etc. Yet the first one is nearly double the price. From what I can tell, the more expensive unit boats PiP and a much better contrast ratio, but that's about it. I guess the Dot Pitch might also be a lot better for the more expensive one, but BB doesn't list that and google isn't providing any results.

So...thoughts, facts, opinions?

New model.  One's a few years older which has been discounted several times each time a new model has been released, and the other is the brand new one.  There are a few things that come with that like better spec and reliability, but whether thats ultimately worth it is up to you.  Probably not though......
