Yep, already got that one, and I'm not too interested in picking up the other old school games.

Yeah I realized a little too late that they had other games (most of which I have or are contained in the Namco compilation) or I would have probably snagged Paperboy too.

Oh btw...deal this week on Xbox Live (unfortunately not on Amazon too).

Bionic Commando: Rearmed for 400 points.

Between this, the Alice Cooper track pack for Rockband (which I'm heavily considering) and the two Disturbed songs from last week, I might just need another points card, ugh!

EDIT: Rearmed is not 400 points this week (sorry Sad)...but it should be 400 next week.

Amazon's Deal of the Day:

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360) - $19.99 - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000R0URCE?ie=UTF8&tag=upcomingdi05c-20linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000R0URCE

Note: All platforms with the exception of PS3 is $19.99 as well.  But the DotD is the 360 version *shrug*

Has anybody played this one, is it any good?

Freak had glowing reviews of SW:TFU when it was released.  From what I've seen of it, it's a completely solid $20 purchase.  The combat can get a little repetitive, but that should be expected for a "beat-em-up brawler" type game.

Amazon's Deal of the Day (big for some I'm sure) - Little Big Planet for PS3 $29.98 ---http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IVXI7C?ie=UTF8&tag=upcomingdi05c-20linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001IVXI7C

Worth $20, but not much more.  Freak is just always drinking the Star Wars Kool-Aid.  Its not a bad game, just generic and very disappointing considering the build up and promise of it.

The problem was the hype around the physics. PC games have had those types of physics in games for a few years now and when SW:TFU came out, gamers were not impressed. But there is more than enough good gameplay for the average gamer and OODLES of eye candy for the average Star Wars fan.

An odd deal of the day.

Combo pack with NBA Street Homecourt & All Pro Football 2k8 $9.98 -->
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TDL3SU?ie=UTF8&tag=upcomingdi05c-20linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001TDL3SU

For the record, I found All Pro 2k8 to be pretty awesome, just lacking a franchise function.  Certainly worth the $5.  Don't know enough about NBA Street though.

At Gamestop.com they are clearing out a lot of RockBand/Guitar Hero bundles at awesome prices and free shipping.  I jumped on the Guitar Hero Aerosmith bundle for $34.99 (360 version) since that's the only one i don't have and I love the guitar they include.  Lots of good stuff.

I would stay away from Fracture, it's about as generic as you can find.  I guess for $10, you could do worse, though.  If you're a rabid fan of shooters, give it a go.

Normally, I wouldn't go on about deals on Ebay...however I do think this warrants some attention.

Anything that you know is sold through Amazon.com for Xbox Live as a code (games and points) probably has a cheaper seller on Ebay.  I recently found this out while shopping for points (I wanted 4000 but I didn't want to pay $50) and for Worms 2: Armageddon on reference from another site.  I'm not sure what agreements they have with Amazon...but anyhow, they purchase these codes in bulk and offer it 40-50% cheaper.  Worms 2 was $5 from one seller (and he had 800+ codes last time I checked), so I looked up Castlevania: Symphony; a game I wanted forever just never got around to.  $6.  Castle Crashers goes for $8-$9 (normally $15).  Just look it up by its title.

The codes are legit as they come from reliable sellers.  Obviously Xbox Live games that aren't sold by Amazon you probably won't have any luck finding.  The same goes for first week games as traditionally it takes a couple of weeks to get to Amazon (and many games don't appear there at all).  But for those that do, there are deals to be made.

Yes, its a good tip.  You can get like 4000 point codes for $30, almost half off.  Screw waiting on Target to throw a 15% off deal twice a year, I'll be going through online channels.

Amazon Deal of the Day - (7/21)

Madworld for Wii $19.98

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019SY1D4?ie=UTF8&tag=upcomingdi05c-20linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0019SY1D4

BTW, I'm going to Fry's today and unless I read wrong, Rock Band Track Pack Country for all systems is $24.99.  But I haven't visually confirmed until I get there.  This is the first track pack of its kind for Rock Band (besides the special ACDC one) that will include songs not currently available for download. (though I'm sure they will end up releasing them eventually)

Edit: It is $24.99, unfortunately they have not gotten the Track Pack in stock yet.  The price is good until Thursday though, so I will check back.
