With a few exceptions, this discussion could have been had with a simple phone call between us.  Wink

Haha, except the long distance charges would have been ludicrous  Cheesy

Well we did sell one more copy (or at least my review did).  Site owner Gino picked it up for the PS3 last night.  I really wish we could get a hits counter on my reviews, I'm curious sometimes.

Back on topic.   Grin

I got the Flicky "Get Chicks" achievement finally last night.  I would have gotten the Streets of Rage 3 one too if I had played it before.  The achievement isn't hard, but the fact I didn't realize you got the kangaroo by leaving him alone during the boss fight is another one of those if I had played this game before things. (I played the first two Streets of Rage to completion but never touched the third)

Up to 565 after an impressive fury yesterday: Streets of Rage 3, Sonic 3d Blast, Sonic 3, Bonanza Bros, Fatal Labyrinth, Super Thunderblade, and I looked at all of the Artwork for the heck of it.  Fatal Labyrinth is a very interesting dungeon crawler.  Reminds me of Rogue and Moria, those old text dungeon crawlers back when I was in college.  Level 5 was nothing once I played it for about 10 minutes.  Still having problems with MBM, looking at what is left, I could feasibly get everything except that one.  Well I don't feel too good about the Vectorman ones either, but I haven't played them very much.

You'll get them, I'm positive.  Now that you're getting in the groove, the 1000 is within your grasp!

5 more today: Alien Storm, Beyond Oasis, Ecco 2, DecapAttack which meant Master the System by default...so up to 710. Some might think 1000 is in my grasp but I'm thinking more 800-900  Wink.  We'll keep trying though.

710!  Your original estimate was in the 500 range, so HA to you! Wink
You're not so bad yourself, Mr. Classic Gamer.

Minor news:  This game was mentioned on the REBEL FM podcast.  Generally favourable opinions, and they echoed our sentiments about not all of the games being gems.

Three more achievements are now mine.  Vectorman, Comix Zone and.....MEAN BEAN MACHINE!

On a side note, it was a complete fluke due to a lucky triple combo.

What's left?  E-Swat & Vectorman 2.  There are two completest achievements besides that but I'm just being lazy about it.

Yeah, just a few.  When I started this, I didn't think there was any way I was going to get to 1000.  Now, I actually see the light.  E-Swat and Vectorman 2 do seem tough but I guess if I conquered the others, they are doable.  E-Swat I have played a few times now and I seem to have trouble with re-appearing enemies all the time.  Vectorman 2 just seems to be an exercise in getting past each stage.  We'll see.

I did it, I did it.  WOOHOO, completed it late last night.  E-Swat wasn't bad once I got past the first stage, 2nd was a piece of cake.  V2 was just a case of sticking with it.  I had fun trying out the arcade games too, especially Alien Syndrome and Fantasy Zone.  But I actually completed it and it is super nice to see a 1000 mark on your gamercard.  Now to just figure out what's next.
