Yeah you should hehe, I would expect Dub, Cron (if he starts reading) and Sarah my girlfriend.  Maybe Freak or Mirage if we entice them enough.  Man we need some new readers.   Grin

Chrono Trigger is a HUGE release for the DS, Ked.  Did you not play/enjoy the original?  Thought it might get some extra special love this week.

And why the hate for Portal still?  Come on now...  Wink

You are right, Chrono Trigger is a great release for the DS.  But this week release wise felt so meh, that it was the only standout.  Portal will always be a sore spot for me, and now it is the subject of a great and constant joke on my part.  One I like to dig in  Cheesy.  No column is complete without it  Wink

"The familyís names incidentally are named Daddy, Mommy, Sarah and Billy. What the heck is my girlfriend doing in this game? (and no her name is not Mommy, at least not to the general public :-P) Didnít I tell her to stop appearing in WiishovelWare?"

If it were up to me, my name would not be anywhere near a title like this. Cheesy

And WTG with the Circuit City stuff. You know they are just going to blame the economy as a way out. But Im with you, if they had actually tried when it came to their staff, they might have made it. I remember going into these stores back home, and the people were just like you said. Either non existent or rude. At Best Buy they bug you a bit (Hey at least they are there!), and most of them have somewhat of a clue as to what they are selling. Circuit City was just never competition to even WalMart in my opinion.

Thanks dear  Grin.  Circuit City became #2 by default.  They used that marquee to build themselves up and open up more stores.  Eventually it caught up to them.  They are so many places that expand too much and too quickly, conveience stores are the most often used example.  The only reason I'll miss Circuit City is that it was another place to go, but that will just mean more trips to Fry's now.  I can do just fine with keeping my dvd & game purchases to Best Buy, Fry's, sometimes Target, the dump bin at Walmart & of course the Internet.

I think this would be Fry's great opportunity to really expand and become BB biggest competitor.

RE: your article.....I must say that, although it may hurt to say it, the Wii is a phenom that has been able to tap into a market unattainable by the gaming bread and butter that most of us "gamers" enjoy.  I would not be suprised if Nintendo actually was responsible for 99%.  The Wii has broken through boundaries, no doubt (not necessarily in all good ways).  I'm seriously seeing the Wii as no longer really a "gaming" system, but as a pop culture item, something people "accesorize" by impulse buying a $10 Wii game like they would a magazine or candy while standing in the checkout line at their local grocery store.

Congrats on the RB2 pickup.  That certainly is one that rarely stays out of my 360 for too long.
