Why didn't you go for the 7.2 system instead? Afraid of the raw, ultimate power of two subwoofers vibrating your bowels loose?

Also...1080p DVD players are a dime a dozen. I think you can get them for like 50 bucks these days. Or just use your PS3, it'll upscale to 1080p.

Like you Becks, I am not made of money. Besides, I am a one-sub kinda guy.

Sh!t it will probably take me much longer than it should to hook up the back surround speakers for 7.1

None of these are an acceptable reason for watching DVDs in 480p. Tongue

Spaghetti, anyone?

Hahahahaha. I should probable manage this shit someday, but I don't think I care. I actually bought a bunch of cable ties from Wal-Mart, because they were on clearance for 50 cents. But they will probably just sit in my Box O' Cords instead.

Wow, and I thought mine was bad.  Heck, mine look neat compared to that.  We need to have a cable fixing & straightening party!

WooHoo!!! So my parents surprised me for my 30th birthday with a pair of Klipsch S1 surround speakers! Now I can officially have 7.1 sound, moffos!

It looks like I am going to have to mount these bastards on the wall some place, which sucks since I like to keep everything hidden, but I will figure it out.
