I know I may be late to the party here, but does anyone else watch this guy? Good sense of humor, flippant attitude, he's not fake like Rachel Ray, and he goes places that no one else would go. Anyway, I'm loving this guy right now.

Awesome guy, used to do Cook's Tour on the food network and now he does No Reservations on the Travel Channel.  He basically gets paid to travel and immerse himself in the culture.  Most importantly he eats their food which ranges from normal cuisine to things like seal fat.  It's awesome and he's completely flippant and sincere at the same time.  I've read his three books about his travels and cooking life.  I've also met the man and had him sign his cookbook.  He's a great guy in real life and totally nice.  Probably my favorite celebrity in the last 5 years.

Yeah, what Kedrix said. Excellent summary of the man and his show.

I actually appreciate that a lot...I don't really watch Close to Home, but it will give me a reason.

No Reservations is a solid show, though I'm not so envious of some of the local food he samples.  Wink
