The Love Guru - looks pretty lame, but I might be willing to give Myers one more chance. It does look very Austin Powers-ish. C+

Anamorph - intriguing in a Seven kind of way. B+

War, Inc. - looks very stupid. D-

Tropic Thunder - meh... might be a good premise, if they can make it last the entire movie. C+

There are two comedies that i want to see right now. THE GRAND and SEX AND DEATH 101 both look excellent. The Grand looks like the new Best In Show, great assemble cast about a stupid subject/sport.

I just can't stop watching The Dark Knight trailers.  I don't think I have been this pumped for a movie in......well, a long time.

IGN has the teaser trailer for the new Punisher movie.  I don't know what to think, but it definitely isn't as positive as I was hoping.

He hangs upside down from a fan, spinning around shooting people. It's a fucking joke!

I think it looks pretty good. I think the cast will make this one worthwhile. Stevenson and West are excellent actors.

Punisher: War Zone - doesn't show much but my official rating will be a B-

Death Race: Looks like Fast and the Furious meets Mad Max. I'm game. B

Babylon AD: Actually has me very interested. A-

I was pretty blown away by all of the trailers I just watched.

Terminator Salvation - doesn't show much so I really can't give it a grade.

Quantum of Solace - looks excellent. Lots of good locations. Good action. Can't wait for 11/7. A

Red - small film about a man who goes after the punks who killed his dog. Looks like a mix of Simple Plan and No Country for Old Men. A+

Max Payne
- was skeptical at first, but then the trailer kicked into high gear and looks like it'll kick all kinds of ass. A

Outlander - looks like it could get right what Thirteenth Warrior and Pathfinder got wrong. Looks like it could be a little cheesy, but it could fill in the void of another Alien movie. B-

Watchmen - I have the book, I really need to read it before I see the movie. Anyway, this looks amazing. A

The Day the Earth Stood Still - dunno about this one. Could be good... I really need to see the original. C+

Thats the dilemma I am in.  I have the book too, but do I read it before or after I watch the film?  Before, I can prime myself up for it, or after and let the movie suprise me and then dive in for further details later.

Read it, it is an incredible comic that captures the era it was written in perfectly. The density of material and how it plays through is incredible.

Watchmen looks decent. Have not, nor will I ever (I imagine) read the GN, so the movie better get it right if it's supposed to be so great.

Outlander looks....I dunno. But scifi and Sophia Myles, so I am there.

Red the new Brian Cox movie looks interesting with what appears to be some tight acting and the makings of th standard tragic piece.

Taken Looks interesting with how it may run through even though it is a very standard action/revenge type film from the trailer.

The Spirit looks like it could kick ass in the Sin City vein. Very impressive second trailer. B+

Body of Lies I don't know what to make of this movie. The trailer really didn't wow me and from the looks of it they are making it seem like almost a black comedy. That said, the cast of DiCaprio and Crow is worth seeing alone, IMO. C+

It seemed like the second teaser. The first one was with him running along the rooftops of the city, the second featured all the women along with Samuel L Jackson in crazy make-up and shooting machine guns into the air.

Watchmen trailer was badass.  Then I downloaded the free 'motion comic' of the first chapter of the Watchmen graphic novel and it rocked.  Now I am convinced that I just need to read it now.
