Picked up World Trade Center on HD today for $19.99 at Target (tagged incorrectly but I'm not complaining) Smiley

Gotta love Target and their lingering confusion on pricing the next-gen titles.  Grin

I picked up Lake Placid for $4.99 from Rogers Video. I've been meaning to watch it for years, as I enjoy the odd creature feature from time to time.

Also got Van Helsing for $4.99, even though I've heard it's a sh*t movie. The special features sound pretty cool, so even if the movie bites, it's worth the price.

Accidentally asked for The West Wing season six for Christmas, instead of season seven. Oops! Going to Best Buy tomorrow to exchange.

Got SNL Season 1 today with gift certificates and gift cards, though I've had to defer to the wife so she can watch Veronica Mars. I'm so whipped.

For Christmas I got the all three LotR extended editions, Contact and the SE of Edward Scissorhands.

I'm waiting for my order from Amazon to be filled which includes the SE of The Caine Mutiny, the two disc collector's edition of Rocky and The Boys from Brazil.

I really should have gotten Marathon Man at the same time. I've always felt that Marathon Man and The Boys from Brazil go together. Why? Nazi conspiracies which involve Laurence Olivier as a nasty Nazi on the one hand and as a nazi hunter on the other.

I've always loved watching Gregory Peck chew the scenery in The Boys from Brazil.

Got Volume 3 to the Batman Animated Series.  Found it used at Half Price for $20.  Its interesting that I've gotten Volume 2 @ EB Games, Volume 4 @ EB Games and Volume 3 @ Half Price (all for $18-$20). But no Volume #1.  So therefore they just sit on my shelf and collect dust.  I will be able to watch Teen Titans Season 1 though which is making its way eventually to me via snail mail from DVD Empire Used stock ($10 yeahie!)

Well I had to pick up Season 3 of Arrested Development at Circuit City since it was on sale, and I absolutely loved the first 2 seasons.  What a hilarious show.

Picked up The Last Kiss and watched it last night. The more I think about it, the more I liked that movie. It seems like Zach Braff is slowly becoming this generation's Woody Allen. Great work all around.

I actually went to Wal-Mart on Boxing Day, though it was later in the day.

Saw 2 PS3's on the shelf, and they weren't going anywhere...kind of sad actually.  I'm sure they were returns of some kind.

Anyway, I had no intention of getting anything but an extra controller for Guitar Hero 2, but I snagged a few ultra-cheap discs.

Cannonball Run - $3
It's Alive I, II, and III - $10
V for Vendetta - $10

Not bad at all.

I know!  And that's in Canadian funds, too!
I thought Wal-Mart had lost their minds.

They also had Arrested Development S1-3 on for $15 each!!!  Too bad I already had them.

Is that the V for Vendetta single disc or two-disc? I knew I should have hit up Wal-mart on Boxing Day, but I was pretty worn out after the mall, Best Buy and Old Navy.

Single disc only, but still worth it.

I just hope Cannonball Run is worth the time, as well as the $3...Wink

I think it'll be worth it just for Turd Ferguson's laugh.  Cheesy
