I checked out an online Domain Name Appraisal website to see what our UpcomingDiscs domain was worth.  Did I ever get a kick out of the result...

That's interesting.

Just for kicks I checked out some other dvd sites and this one is coming up the highest by a LONG shot. Sites like highdefdigest ($341) and dvdtalk ($2K) are further down the totem pole!

I agree. Sell and split it with the people who have been here the longest. I think me and Becks hold that title (we're from the Shrine, baby!) and Becks needs the money bad.

Gee they go way back not sure how many of us are left but that was a site that went downhill over time and the only reason I continued to visit was for the forum. Eventually that died to and we all moved to upcomingdiscs. I can't remember if there was anything else inbetween it has been so long now.

Sorry I forgot about you Tee. I think you, me and Becks are the only ones left.

And if my mind serves me correctly, I think I stumbled across the Shrine in 2001 or 2002 so it had to be up and running around that time. I think it went belly up in 2003 or 04, and that's when we moved here.
