It's a roll cage on wheels.  One of the safest cars on the road today.

I've test driven one twice, and it's just a great car.  A perfect grocery-getter.

Unfortunately, these ever increasing gas prices have forced me to become an equal opportunity motorist.

Well, the Freakster finally woke up and bought a truck.

That's not it, just a web image that is pretty damn close to what my truck actually looks like (same color, minus some chrome trim and bug deflector).

It's a 2002 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 V8 (4.7L Magnum, for those in the know)

My uncle bought it new in '02 and drove it for two years, never in winter and only on rare occasions lately, to wash it and change the oil, keep the transfer case lubed that sort of thing. He kept it absolutely mint and it only has 25000 miles or 40000 kilometers in almost 8 years!!!

Needless to say I am now the "friend with a truck" that gets to help everyone move and haul what-nots, which I love doing, since the truck is a dream to drive!

Anyone else get a new auto this summer?

No, no new one, still the '07 Scion tC.  Houston has given me a few new dents, so that's something I guess.

Rubbing's racing son! They're not slamming you, they're not banging you... they're rubbing you and rubbing is racing.
