Meh, Shame on PS3 for not providing backwards compatibility in their new models  Grin, but seriously I did say I blamed both companies for this chicanery.  In the end, I'll just point my finger a little more at PS3 for not allowing me to play Arkham like I want to.   Wink

The playable Joker elements for PS3 were exclusively purchased and developed by Sony.  They will never see a 360 release.  (Confirmed by Sony and Microsoft reps at PAX.)

That's a really crappy thing to do but I blame both Sony and MS.  (Since MS did something similar with GTA IV).  And Batman is not a system seller for me, so shame on PS3, shame on PS3 indeed.

haha, love the picture...that's a good one though the story is much better than the picture I reckon Smiley, glad to see you had fun though.

As much as I used to have a thing for Morgan Webb, I'm so over here now (for the most part)...mass security guards now too?  Geez...though I do want to see the picture though  Wink

The transfer is to be desired, but the extras and the unrated cut is what keeps it in my collection time and time again.

I'm guilty for Stargate too, and Stir of Echoes, and just about any other $10 title that I already own and liked (and at least kept most if not all of the special features).  I've only been able to escape a couple of $10 titles so far (that I really liked), Robocop (still can't replace my Criterion) & Punisher (Thomas Jane version, doesn't include the extended cut).  *That auction pile keeps growing larger and larger*

Almost bought The Rock tonight, but I am trying to go strong on the "Don't buy BDs of things that you have on DVD" thing.

My fiancee wants me to do the same thing...unfortunately I don't seem to be paying attention much  Grin (Seriously, I'm only rebuying stuff I really really liked, but perhaps I am doing it a bit much)

$12.99 seems to be my magic price lately.

From DVDEmpire:
Ninth Gate

From Fry's:
Donnie Brasco
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

Nopers, sitting at home relaxing to be honest.  Of course I leave in a week to escort my mom to their new home in Tennessee (then I fly back), so it wasn't exactly timely...but it would have been nice Cheesy

And Taken was awesome.  I'd watch Amazon, right now they are full price but often they have been in the $14-$15 range.  Amazon has some good stuff around $10-$12 right now including Dark Blue, Graduate and more on Blu-Ray.

Also...please don't use any Amazon links on the forum, it won't give us any credit...it has to be from upcomingdiscs.com (any review, doesn't matter) for us to get credit.  Something about widgets.  So, sorry to those I led astray.  My fault  Lips sealed

I've moved around a bit as a kid, so I never really had a home team to call myself a fan of .  I became a Phillies fan way back in 1980 when I was 5.  The team had so much character (like it does now kinda), and had so many personalities to watch, that it drew me in.  It kinda bled over to the other sports teams like the Flyers and the Eagles.  The 76ers, I liked when they had Barkley, now I hardly watch basketball at all.  That's about it.  Baseball is still my thing, but I get into Football and Hockey a lot more now than as a kid.

A Vikings fan eh?  Hrmmm...not a Buccaneer fan then? Cheesy  But then again, are there really Buccaneer fans period  Grin  Speaking of QB controversy...I'm still trying to figure out if the Michael Vick thing for Philly is a good or bad thing.  It's not really a QB controversy obviously because McNabb is the starter but Vick properly motivated can bring some interesting dynamics to the field especially in special situations & audibles.

Recently I picked up Popcap Vol 2 with Peggle, Feeding Frenzy 2 & Heavy Weapon.  Peggle has been a fun thing to play for 10-20 minutes at a time and I've been chipping away at it. Haven't touched the other two, though I'm pretty sure I will give Heavy Weapon a shot.  I also bought Tomb Raider Anniversary on clearance at Target for $13.98.  Not sure what I'm going to do with that yet LOL  Wink
